Mrs. Eileen Bolton
Group Manager

Eileen commenced employment at The Hurst Nursing Home in December 1980 as a part time bookkeeper and clerk and has progressed into the role of Administrator and most recently, Group Manager.

Eileen has developed a very comprehensive knowledge and experience of the Nursing Home industry in this particular region which has proved invaluable in providing our high quality service to our clients.


Mrs Dawn Davie RMA
Registered Manager,
Abbas Combe Nursing Home

Dawn started her training in 1989 at Solent school of health studies. In 1992 after completing her training she worked on the wards at QAH, Portsmouth and realised that she had a passion for elderly care. In 1993 she left to take up a role as a full time RN in a local nursing home and then moved from there to a Deputy Manager position in a Home in Fareham, Hants. In 1995 she moved to Deputy Manager post at a Home in Emsworth, Hants.

Dawn took a 5 year career break from November 1998 to June 2003 to concentrate on raising her daughter working nights to ensure her clinical skills were kept up to date.

She remained as Deputy Manager at the Home in Emsworth until 2006 when the company purchased another home and in recognition of her excellent work, she was moved there in the position of Registered Manager.

In 2009 she took the Registered Managers role at a large Nursing Home in Littlehampton working for a Corporate Operator, before moving to Abbas Combe in Jan 2011.
