Mrs. Eileen Bolton
Group Manager

Eileen commenced employment at The Hurst Nursing Home in December 1980 as a part time bookkeeper and clerk and has progressed into the role of Administrator and most recently, Group Manager.

Eileen has developed a very comprehensive knowledge and experience of the Nursing Home industry in this particular region which has proved invaluable in providing our high quality service to our clients.


Mrs. Alison Carnecky
Registered Manager,
Abbas Combe Nursing Home, RMA

Alison started her Career in Elderly care working as a Care Assistant here at Abbas Combe in 1997. This experience led her to consider a career as a Trained Nurse so she left Abbas Combe to pursure the necessary training and qualifications, always with the intention of returning to Elderly care once she had obtained these. During her training she has worked in various hospital wards in the Chichester locality including St Richards gaining experience in cardiac care, surgical procedures, rehabilitation and high dependency care.

In 2007 Alison returned to the private care sector working as an Assistant Manager of a Care Home where she simultaneously achieved her RMA in 2008.

Initially Alison joined our Group working as acting Manager of our sister home, The Hurst in Worthing. When the vacancy arose at Abbas Combe, Alison was delighted to return to the home where she began her career.
